Michael’s Cafe helped kick off Baltimore County Winter Restaurant Week and was honored by Maryland Comptroller Peter Franchot
“Baltimore County’s Winter Restaurant Week is a big week for the 32-year-old Michael’s Cafe, in Timonium.
The family-owned, recently renovated restaurant, raw bar and grill, started by Michael Dellis in 1984, was honored Monday by Maryland Comptroller Peter Franchot, who stopped by to personally congratulate Dellis for more than three decades of business success in the county’s competitive and growing restaurant industry, and to give the family a state proclamation and medallion.
Michael’s Cafe, located near the Timonium Fairgrounds and known for its homemade crab cakes, shrimp salad, steaks and soups, is also hosting the kickoff Thursday to Winter Restaurant Week — actually 16 days, from Jan. 15-30 — which will feature discount prices in a traditional slow time of year for the industry.”
